Make Your Own Cold Brew Concentrate

Making cold brew coffee indeed has many variables: the type of beans and water used, the amount of coffee grounds to water ratio, how many hours the beans soak in the water, the temperature of the water, and what dilution ratio you mix the concentrate with. Phew, that was a mouth full!

There are a lot of options to making your coffee taste differently, which is why cold brew can vary so widely amongst brands. While we can't give you our exact recipe, we can suggest that you experiment with different types of beans to find flavor profiles that suit your pallet. Try different soak times and temperatures to see if you think one tastes better or worse. Keep a journal, or a "brew log" to help you remember what you brewed and whether you liked it.

The video below serves as a quick start-up guide for making your own cold brew coffee. If you have any questions, shoot us a note as we'll be happy to help you in any way we can.
